I’ve always had a lot of different passions and interests, as well as a healthy rebellious streak.
This is why I call myself a multi-hyphenate: someone who resists the boxes of traditional career pathways.
By sharing a multiplicity of offerings with you, I strive to honor and uplift the feminine energies of flow, change, and shapeshifting within myself and my clients.
I’m a lifelong writer, poet, and creative. I’ve also always had a knack for editing; my uncle reminds me affectionately of how I used to cut sentences from the English papers my dad brought home to grade.
I am a devoted spiritual student/practitioner and believe writing is an act of co-creation with something beyond ourselves: the divine, alchemical, ancestral, ecological, or all of the above. To that end, I support writers in developing a writing practice and voice connected to unseen help and to spirit—whatever that might mean for them.
I am also a doula, Reiki practitioner, and student of the Yucatec Maya Healing tradition, which approaches women’s healing holistically using plants, shamanic work, and bodywork. I am a longtime student of various earth-based healing ways, and have studied with teachers in the Mayan midwifery tradition as well as wisdom keepers from Peru, Colombia, and North American native traditions.
Outside of work, you’ll find me hiking, playing banjo, at a dance or yoga class, or cooking yummy meals for my friends and family. I live in Boulder, CO, with my wonderful husband.
